Legacy
Remembering the past: Heide Performance Products was started in January 2009 as an outgrowth of many years of involvement with racing performance cars, aftermarket product, and the desire to perfect these components. The company started out with two employees, Jack Pennington and Gordon Heidacker who combined their creative skills to develop the first HPP product known as the Dodge Daytona. The Dodge Daytona project was inspired by a challenge from Mopar, and completed internally by HPP for initial display at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV. This product launched HPP into a design, development, and accessories firm that continued to innovate. As a testament to HPPS design and production capability, most, if not all of these products can still be found in the Mopar catalog today.
